Top 11 Homeopathic Remedies for Travel

Jet lag, motion sickness, intestinal illness, homesickness, insect bites: traveling can present its own unique health challenges, but homeopathy can help! Homeopathic remedies can quickly and effectively prompt the body to heal the imbalance, naturally and with no side effects.

My family went on our first overseas trip recently, and homeopathy was there to support us through motion sickness, sunburns, mosquito bites, homesickness, overworked muscles, and more. I always pack along homeopathic remedies anytime we go out of town; they take away those annoying symptoms that can really impede our enjoyment.

Air Travel with Homeopathic Remedies

Depending on their power level, airport scanning devices can actually inactivate homeopathic remedies. To be sure my remedies will still be effective, I take my remedies in my carry-on bag and make sure to request a "hand-check" of the remedies so they are not sent through the scanners. I find it helpful to carry my remedies in a little zipper pouch. If asked what the items are, I just say "homeopathic medicines," and that works fine to allay their concerns.

Dosing and Potency

30c potency is a good general-purpose potency for most people. If there is no obvious improvement within 2-3 doses, stop using the remedy as it is probably not the right one. Correct dosing is just as important as remedy selection, and can make a huge difference in the results. Please read my article about homeopathic dosing to better understand how often to give doses to increase the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies.
